Her Story
We used to go to the same high school, I met some great friends there; many still keep in touch after graduation. However, Tate wasn't one of these people. Matter of fact, we never talk privately in high school; or have any contact during our university days. How I bumped into him again it wasn’t magical, in fact, it was all business. One day I had to attend a press conference, I saw a familiar face sitting a few roles behind me. I couldn't remember his name at first, but after few minutes of Facebook search then I remembered. I went up to said hi and he handed me his business card. We couldn't talk much during that boring press conference, luckily the text messages went back and forth with him kept me awake.
Later we decided to do our late night study at Tim Horton together, and that's when it all started. We went on more dates after; the more we talk the more we realized we have so much in common. Few months into our dating, we went to New York on my birthday. After a day of exhaustion from shopping and food poisoning from a burrito, I heard the sweetest thing that made all my pain go away. That’s when he proposed….
His Story
On a sunny morning I was trapped indoor due to a business event. I purposely sat in the last row hoping that I can later sneak out without causing much disturbance. So there I was, starring at the stage and waiting for the news conference to start. Then, I heard someone calling my name and it was (you guessed it) Mandy. She sat two rows in front of me. Somehow the row between us was empty, and she spotted me sitting at the back when she was wandering around. That is how we met again since the high school days, when we have never really talked to each other.
So time flies and we were out to our first date. Took her to a nice restaurant, ordered some delicious food and drank a bottle of red. Combined with my “pre-arranged” fireworks, it was hands-down the best dinner ever. Things went very smooth that night and I just have the feeling that this is the kind of girl I have been looking for…
And voila, on Oct 14, we are prepared to move on together to the next chapter of our lives..
